PHOTOS: Michelle Obama Picks Jason Wu For Her Inaugural Gown!

If Michelle Obama was out to shock the public tonight with her choice of designer for the Inaugural Ball, she definitely succeeded!

The FLOTUS chose a tomato red, floor-length custom-made gown by Jason Wu, the same designer behind her 2009 Inaugural gown. Four years ago, the white one-shouldered gown she debuted catapulted the then-little known designer to household name status, and many expected Obama to do the same for another small designer tonight.

Instead, the First Lady went for an old faithful — a draped chiffon Wu gown with a keyhole neckline, which she paired with Jimmy Choo kitten heels, an armful of sparkly bracelets, and a flipped-out hairstyle. Suffice it to say, she stole the show.
