WATCH: Michelle Obama Talks Toiletries In Teal On Jimmy Kimmel

Michelle Obama visited the set of Jimmy Kimmel Live! yesterday in what was undoubtedly one of our favorite outfits the First Lady has worn as of late. The deep teal Jason Wu was both seasonally-appropriate and flattering on Obama’s skin tone, and she chose the sleeveless, full-skirted silhouette that is always a winner for her figure. Accessories-wise the look was a hit, too. The tangled multicolor necklace jazzed up an otherwise simple ensemble and black patent pumps pulled the whole thing together.

On the segment, FLOTUS and Kimmel talked about two of the most important, timely, and relevant issues of the moment: the Presidential Election and Halloween.

While the White House will be hosting thousands of kids for the occasion, the first daughters have other plans: Sasha Obama will be out trick-or-treating with friends, and Malia “feels like she’s a little too old,” so she’ll just be sporting some kind of costume-y accessory. As for Michelle, she talked about having a bit of a disguise of her own. When she wants to venture out into the world sans fanfare or photographers, she’ll wear a “warm-up” and “cap” and try her best to be incognito. Sometimes, however, her height will give her away:

“There are times when I do kind of disguise it up, you know? It’s a little harder because I’m so tall. You know, so you see people just kind of looking at me because I’m tall. And then it’s like… *gasp* ‘Oh, it’s you!’”

And what would she do if she could have a day off from being First Lady?

“I would walk out of the door of the White House like a regular person, walk down the street, go to the drugstore, go to CVS. I would shop, go in there, go shop, I’d go buy my toiletries, I’d pay money, I’d get a receipt. Yes, and then I’d go sit on the park bench and just watch people.”

Think about that next time you have a tedious day of errand-running ahead. You’re living Michelle Obama’s dream!
