It may be November, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at Michelle Obama‘s latest ensemble. The First Lady is going full steam ahead in the final few days before the Presidential election, and yesterday she was in Miami, Florida rallying supporters at the James L. Knight Center, wearing a watercolor floral Moschino shirtdress in violet, lime green, and indigo.
The last time she wore the dress publicly was in August 2008, while in Springfield, Illinois, campaigning for Barack’s first term — and hey, if it worked the first time around, why not bring it back again? It’s is perfectly suited for both occasion and destination — the short-sleeved silhouette is conservative without an ounce of frump, while the pattern gives it a playfulness and vibrancy that’s right at home in the warmer clime (oh, how we envy you that right now, Miami!).
While the first time around she paired the frock with silver ballet flats and a blown-out bob, yesterday FLOTUS opted for low-heeled, pointy-toed green pumps and artfully curled locks, which made for a more subdued, mature look — fitting after four less-than-breezy years in the White House.
Check out the photos from the rally below, and tell us whether you think the dress deserves a second term in Mrs. O’s wardrobe:
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
