Photos from Mulberry‘s fall ad campaign are here, and they will transport you to a land of imagination and wonder. A childlike Lindsey Wixson stars in the shots (which were taken in England’s Blackheath Forest) and is shown surrounded by furry, larger-than-life characters that bare a striking resemblance to everyone’s favorite friendly monsters, the Wild Things.
WWD says that the ads are “a cross between the Muppets and Grimm’s Fairy Tales“. Which is odd, because they basically look like the movie posters for Where The Wild Things Are with Lindsey superimposed in the foreground. (Also, the WWD story actually has the words “wild thing” in the URL and text). And seeing as Maurice Sendak just died last month, it’s not out of the question that this could be a tribute to the beloved children’s author. Check out the entire entire campaign below!
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
