Back Necklaces Are Back, Derek Lam’s $5M Dream House, and Change Your eBay Password NOW

Here’s an old but good trend people are watching: necklaces draped down the back instead of the front. Cara Delevingne and Jennifer Lawrence wore their necklaces backwards the way Princess Diana, Audrey Hepburn and Nicole Kidman had before them. “It makes a lot of sense to wear a necklace this way if you are wearing a dress like Cara’s with an open back,” says luxury jewelry expert at The Telegraph, Maria Doulton. “You have to make sure that it looks good from the front too and jewelers are designing necklaces with this in mind. And wearing a necklace this way means you can wear earrings too without having a battle between the two.” It’s accessible in that the prerequisites are a low-back gown, and an expensive necklace. But a costume jewelry teardrop pearl could work too. (Telegraph)
