PHOTOS: Naomi Campbell Gets Flipped Sideways For Vogue Italia

Thanks to her fast-approaching reality television debut on The Face, Naomi Campbell is everywhere these days. And who can complain when she’s looking like this?

The legendary supermodel was photographed by Steven Meisel for the February 2013 “About Women” issue of Vogue Italia, and we have the sepia-toned cover and accompanying behind-the-scenes video for all of your viewing pleasure.

Campbell dons a series of wigs for the spread, along with inky femme fatale wares by the likes of Prada and Chanel. From what we can tell, the mag seems to be chugging right along with their retro streak as of late, following Fei Fei Sun‘s incredible tribute to China Machado and Kate Upton‘s Marilyn-esque stint fronting the glossy, but this cover is slightly different from its predecessors. Why? Well, for one thing, it’s been turned on its side.

In the video below, we see Campbell posing against a wooden easel-cum-armchair, dangling a cigarette in some shots, and twisting her glove-clad hands into elegant poses in others. In the cover photo, however, the image has been turned 90 degrees to the left so that the super appears to be lying down. Tricky, don’t you think?

Watch the rather haunting behind-the-scenes video and flip through some of our favorite shots below:
