Online retail and print publication aren’t two worlds that we don’t often see join forces. But next February, Net-A-Porter will facilitate one such union with the premiere of its new print magazine called PORTER.
It’s not too crazy a step: Net-A-Porter already has a weekly online mag, The Edit, and PORTER, it’s paper counterpart, will be run by the same editor, former British Harper’s BAZAAR editor-in-chief Lucy Yeomans.
Yeomans says the ”The PORTER woman is a strong, stylish, intelligent and adventurous woman of the world.” The magazine will be bi-monthly and will cover high-end fashion. But it won’t just be a glorified catalogue for Net-A-Porter. Similarly to The Edit, it will feature things sold on the site and things not.
