Nick Gruber Is Writing A Salacious Tell-All Book About Calvin Klein

In the grand tradition of milking one’s fifteen minutes of fame for all they’re worth, Calvin Klein‘s 22-year-old ex-boyfriend Nick Gruber reportedly plans to write a tell-all memoir divulging all the torrid details of their two-year relationship.

As you might expect, the former porn star is not going about this project all by his lonesome. According to the New York Daily News, he has “tapped a well-known author to develop the book as they begin to flesh out the structure and chapters.” The tabloid confirmed the story with both Gruber and the unnamed ghost writer, who claims the stories told will be “beyond shocking.” We don’t doubt it, though it’s not as if Gruber’s own lifestyle was particularly quiet, clean, or sober at the time. The now-reformed party boy was arrested in April for cocaine possession and assault. Calvin himself went to rehab in 2003, following a drug-induced meltdown that led him to wander onto the court during an NBA game.

The anonymous writer goes on to say that Gruber is doing the book because he is seeking “closure,” (read: $$$) and because “he has a lot of secrets about Calvin and he has the right to tell people.” We’re not so sure about that last part — the very private 69-year-old designer has been nothing but gracious about his ex to the press, telling Page Six earlier this year that that they still had a “wonderful relationship.” Gruber even told TMZ just last week that Klein was “very supportive” of him throughout his recovery. But we guess in this case cash speaks louder than words, and publishers are apparently duking it out for the rights to the salacious memoir.

Oh, and as for the tentative title of the tell-all? “What Came Between Me and My Calvin,” of course.
