The Nineties Are Back With Joyrich’s Betty Boop Collection

Betty Boop may have made her first appearance in 1930, but for us she is quintessentially 1990s. Throughout the decade our Betty Boop-printed outfits sat comfortably next to out Tweety Bird t-shirts and stirrup leggings. Surely we’re not the only ones. Now, just in case we weren’t feeling weird enough about nineties style making a comeback, Betty Boop is featured in a new 19 piece collection from L.A.-based street wear brand Joyrich.

As you can see in some of the photos below, the collection combines Betty Boop’s image with denim and other modern elements to give a vibe that is somehow reminiscent of the 1990s, the 1950s, and now. Vintage inspiration is always fun, but there’s something uniquely playful about these pieces that we’re kind of in love with.

The collection can be purchased at Patricia Field in New York and Wish in Atlanta, as well as Nasty Gal and Dolls Kill online.

What do you think? Are we crazy for loving this?
