WATCH: President Obama Reveals His 1970s Thrift Store Style


President Obama made a wholly mesmerizing and seriously charming appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Tuesday, where he wore a perfectly fitted suit worthy of an Abercrombie & Fitch protest. And while the pair discussed everything from SportsCenter to student loan insurance rates, our favorite part of the segment came when Fallon pulled out a Time Warp-worthy photo of Obama from his college days at Columbia.

Here’s a close-up:

“I’m a little concerned about what you’ve got there…” Obama laughed, before walking the host through the details of his look. “I want you to notice the afro. And then there’s, I guess, fur on the jacket, on my collar. My guess is that this was a Goodwill purchase.”
