Oprah’s Favorite Things Live On, This Time In Magazine Form

For years, Oprah‘s favorite things have turned small businesses into big ones — and taken a lot of the guesswork out of holiday shopping. But just because her show is no longer on the air doesn’t mean that she’s giving up making her list and checking it twice — it’s still going to be featured in the pages of the next issue of O Magazine.

This year’s list is just as lush and indulgent and thing-filled as other editions of The Favorite Things, only this time it’ll be presented without a studio audience. People got a sneak peak at the list, which includes things like cashmere robes, python carrying bags, gold and silver necklaces and very fuzzy slippers.

Oprah compiled the list with the help of basically everyone she’s ever made famous, asking for recommendations from her best friend Gayle King, TV host Dr. Oz, and financial guru Suze Orman. The group assembled put together a pretty wide-ranging list of non-fashion items, too: from bottles of Jay-Z’s brand of champagne to bottles of chili-infused olive oil. There’s even a section that gives tips on how to wrap all this stuff, once you get it.

The list will give readers access to exclusive discounts on all the items included, but a few people can win the entire gift-wrapped list and get it delivered to their homes before Christmas Eve. Oprah’s 12-Day Holiday Give-O-Way will open on Nov. 28. Take a look at some of the items on the list here, and find out how you can enter the competition here.

And just because, here’s a mashup of the audience reactions to last year’s final installation of Oprah’s televised favorite things. Enjoy:
