Another day, another fancy royal event.
Today the annual Order of the Garter service was held at Windsor Castle. (FYI, the Order of the Garter is Britain’s oldest order of knights, and it is VERY FANCY.) Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and lots of other royals were all in attendance. Liz wore her fancy official robe — as did Phil, Chuck, and Will — while Kate repeated another outfit.
Duchess Catherine wore the same Alexander McQueen coat dress she donned for last year’s Trooping of the Colour, this time with a coordinating white hat by Jane Corbett instead of a black one. We find this frock especially lovely, due to the (peplum-esque?!) hip bustle and the poofy skirt.
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
