We’ve always envied that perfect strawberry blonde coif that Rachel McAdams donned in The Notebook, but as soon as we saw actress hit her About Time premiere sporting bright orange hair, we were totally jazzed at premise of Allie Hamilton 2.0. As much as we covet this super-contemporary hue and are tempted to try it ourselves, we wouldn’t give it a test-drive unless we awoke one morning and magically found ourselves with a perfect English Rose complexion.
Anyways, McAdams looked all the more modern thanks to her lavender top and skirt ensemble from Roksanda Illincic’s Resort 2014 collection. We’re already on the hunt for a shiny hologram belt like the one cinching her waist to perfect. Things got all the more fun when she turned around, revealing an equally kicky electric stripe down the middle.
Joining her on the red carpet were her two co-star Vanessa Kirby, who also took the futuristic route in a silvery, mixed pastel print dress that had an equally lustrous feel. Vanessa Kirby, went in a different direction wearing a white mini dress with a floor-sweeping lace overlay. While the other girls looked charming enough, it was undeniable that McAdams was running the show. See for yourself, below:
