From Lady Gaga’s meat dress to Ted Sabarese’s Hunger Pains portraits, and from edible undies to edible Chanel, nothing makes fashion more fun than when clothing tastes as good as it looks. But if fashion made of food held an eating contest, South Korean artist Sung Yeonju would win, hands down.
Yeonju’s series “Wearable Foods” consists of dresses made of everyday edible products like tomatoes, bubblegum, and bread — but our favorite is the Alexander McQueen-esque dress made from bananas. We’ve pulled a few of Yeonju’s most amazing works into a gallery, but you can see the rest here.
