Pippa Middleton may not be promoting her new party planning book here in America (blame Kate), but she certainly spent yesterday doing it up in London — and in four different looks, no less. Whew! That’s quite an impressive feat — even Anna Dello Russo only changes three times a day.
To celebrate the launch of her book, Celebrate: A Year of Festivities for Families and Friends, Pippa crammed four different events into one day at Daunt Books in Chelsea, London. She arrived at the bookstore in a cute colorblocked Paper London tunic and then switched into a plum Roksanda Ilincic sheath, which seemed yawn-worthy from the front, but offered up a surprise in the form of zippers that ran down the sides.
For a Halloween-themed tea party with a group of children inside the store, Pippa paired a green and black Markus Lupfer number with tights. According to British Vogue, Pippa tried to convince two little girls that they’d grow out of their tomboy phase, to which one replied, “I hate princesses,” and the other, “I hate fairies and princesses. I like vampires.” Ouch. Undeterred by their comments, Pippa kept on promoting and for her final look of the day, she wore a gray Stella McCartney dress with a flared hem and a black faux-turtleneck.
Here’s a look at every dress Pippa wore on her one-day book tour:
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
