It looks like Prince Harry’s latest flame Florence Brudenell-Bruce is using her newfound tabloid fame to give her career a little boost. The model (and distant cousin to the prince) is featured in Anonymous by Ross+Bute’s fall/winter lookbook. British born Brudenell-Bruce keeps it conservative in the pics, wearing oversized knit sweaters and curve-hugging skirts.
We can certainly say links to the prince have helped to propel the model’s career. Flee’s old gigs included modeling on curling iron boxes and acting in commercials for the British cellphone Paddy Power.
The Anonymous line draws inspiration from the 1950s and the costumes on Mad Men. We’re totally into the retro vibe with some of the line’s belted dresses, high-collared shirts, and floral prints, but something about the chunky knits and long skirts makes the line look a little frumpy. We much prefer the Mad Men-inspired Banana Republic collection.
The lookbook’s straight-laced shoot makes Brudenell-Bruce seem a far cry from Harry’s former flame, the often underdressed Chelsy Davy. Although nothing has been confirmed between the Prince and Brudenell-Bruce, the two have been spotted out and about together this summer. Maybe this dowdy campaign for Ross+Bute was Flee’s way of proving she could play into her conservative side as a royal.
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
