Prince William got to enjoy some royal wedding cake at last night’s October Club benefiting the Saint Giles Trust, one of the many charities of which he is a devoted patron.
No, a crazed attendee didn’t bring along an 18-month-old piece they’d saved from the nuptials (though we wouldn’t put it past one of those Brit superfans). This particular confection was not an ornate, eight-tiered masterpiece topped with 900 sugar flowers. It did not feed 600 people, nor was it the creation of master baker Fiona Cairns. But it was a very thoughtful gesture from some of Wills’ crafty admirers — a unique cake reenactment of his grand exit from Buckingham Palace last year, when he drove his new bride
Kate Middleton The Duchess of Cambridge away in a vintage Aston Martin decorated with festive wedding adornments.
And in case you’re wondering, yes, Kate’s hair still looks pretty when it’s made of fondant.
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
