Few things are more irresistible than cute kids with British accents. Throw in the fact that they’re members of the royal family, and you’ve got video gold. Add in Queen Elizabeth, and, well, it just doesn’t get much better than this.
Earlier this month we saw toddler Prince William play piano with baby Prince Harry, and we cooed accordingly. Now we have a clip of Queen Elizabeth taking her grandchildren horseback riding at the Balmoral Estate. The video was shot in 1992, and involves a 10-year-old Will, 8-year-old Harry, 4-year-old Beatrice, and an adorable 2-year-old Eugenie. Yes, it’s as awesome as you would imagine.
William leads Beatrice on her horse, as he walks with his grandmother who holds the toddling Eugenie’s hand (and who steps on Elizabeth’s foot). Harry rides ahead with his Zara Philips (who is now a professional equestrian, by the way). And Liz talks fondly of the privacy Balmoral affords them — they even have picnics there. Can we be invited next time?
