Queen Elizabeth had quite the busy Tuesday at Buckingham Palace. Homegirl just couldn’t catch a break, and hosted three different events. But of course, she looked great doing so.
For starters, she held a private meeting with the Prime Minister of Thailand, Yingluck Shinawatra, in a cream tweed long-sleeved dress accessorized with pearls, a golden flower brooch, and a dainty watch. For a luncheon later in the day with Prince Philip, President of the Federal Republic of Germany Joachim Gauck, and his partner Daniela Schadt, Liz threw a structured blazer with black buttons on over the dress, and repinned the brooch on the topper.
But the day wasn’t over just yet. The Queen hosted a reception for the winners of the Award for Enterprise, and got gussied up in a dusty blue ensemble with shimmery bue floral embroidery, and her go-to black bag and kitten heels. It’s similar to the outfit we saw at the Paralympics Closing Ceremony, and we nearly called this a repeat. But not quite — we guess Kate Middleton‘s habit of repeating her wardrobe hasn’t rubbed off on Liz entirely.
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
