Rachel Zoe is, without a doubt, a brand. She’s a celebrity, she’s a TV star, she’s a fashionista. She’s a wife, she’s a comedian, she’s a business woman. She has a newsletter, she has an assistant (several of them!), and she has a lot of clothes. But at the heart of things, however often we may forget, Rachel Zoe is a stylist — and amazing one at that.
We tend to see Zoe most often in the mainstream media. She’s styled shoots for Harper’s Bazaar, visits with us weekly on Bravo’s The Rachel Zoe Project, and works with household brand names like Piperlime and QVC.
But the truth is, if you really knew Zoe, you’d know that her style and taste far exceeds her mass market appeal. She may speak of Chanel and Louboutin, but more avant garde names occupy her fashion vocabulary as well. And more independent magazines strike her fancy, too.
When we heard she was slated to style a shoot for Love Magazine‘s 4 issue, we were elated. Rachel Zoe and Katie Grand, together at last! We couldn’t think of a better meeting of the minds. And the black and white, four-page spread didn’t disappoint. Zoe styled model Ginta Lapina, the face of Miu Miu‘s Fall campaign, in the perfect mix of Zoe-centric fashion (aka. a faux fur coat), and high fashion accents.
In addition to loving the photos, we’re thrilled Zoe took the opportunity to remind us, and everyone else, what she does best: styling.
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
