This being Paris Fashion Week, the lion’s share of chic comes to us from Maison Vionnet‘s 100th Anniversary cocktail party, which drew a slew of models, editors, and European social types to the Hotel Salomon de Rothschild last night. Most of the revelers chose their best Vionnet for the occasion — we’re particularly fond of Anne V‘s sophisticated long-sleeved number and Giovanna Battaglia‘s matching monochrome. Also, while we’re definitely tiring of the mullet dress by now, the patterned hem on Toni Garrn‘s white gown looked fresh.
Over on the West coast, the stars went green for the Environmental Media Awards. Attire-wise, however, most, like Jessica Alba and Julie Bowen, opted for black and white, but the green beaded neckline on Cody Horn‘s sleeveless Barbara Bui sheath was a subtle nod to the evening’s theme. Finally, the Global Citizen Festival, held in Central Park, was a jeans and t-shirt kind of affair, although Petra Nemcova bucked the trend in an ivory bodycon number. Hope she didn’t get too muddy!
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
