Last night was a big night for big screen stars in New York City, with the 22nd Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards going on downtown at Cipriani Wall Street, while uptown Brad Pitt‘s friends and fans joined him for a screening of his new film Killing Them Softly
Pitt clearly still hasn’t scrapped the scruffy look he’s been rocking as of late, showing up to the event unshaven and wearing a rumpled leather jacket. His guests, however, were quite a bit more pulled-together, notably Maggie Grace in a festive Giorgio Armani number and Bella Heathcote in pretty burgundy Roksanda Ilincic. A monochromatic model brigade of Doutzen Kroes, Anne V, and Anja Rubik rounded out the crowd.
The Independent film stars were a slightly more colorful crowd on the whole, although the big name actresses likewise opted for subdued shades. Marion Cotillard wore a navy frock from (you guessed it!) Raf Simons‘ first Christian Dior Couture collection, while Amy Adams donned asymmetrical Armani and Emily Blunt opted for winter white Calvin Klein.
