While the week’s biggest red carpet is done and dusted, Hollywood’s style stars were out on the town yesterday, decked out yet again in designer duds. So how did Anne Hathaway, Kate Bosworth, Sarah Jessica Parker, and more measure up? Let’s take a look.
Hathaway played up her new blonde locks with an edgy and appropriately arty Givenchy frock for the Tate Americas Foundation Artists Dinner in New York. While at the Met Gala her hair was slicked back and teased, last night she had it styled in an Edie Sedgwick-esque ‘do. We’re still getting used to the updated Anne, but we’re leaning towards a thumbs-up on this one.
Kerry Washington, meanwhile, didn’t quite live up to her usually impeccable red carpet record, choosing a slightly sloppy looking Narciso Rodriguez number with a blah mullet hem. Jennifer Aniston stayed true to her keep-it-simple style while out promoting her new hair care line, though a necklace would have done wonders towards jazzing up her grey shift.
See these looks, plus Bosworth in embellished Miu Miu, Chloë Sevigny in hospital-white Christopher Kane, SJP in floor-length floral, and more in the gallery below:
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
