Today the designer announced his decision to step down from his post, and Coach has transformed into a $4.76 billion behemoth contemporary accessories brand, boasting over $1 billion in sales per year and the kind of mass appeal that makes its logo ubiquitous from the malls of Middle America all the way to Madison Avenue.
