You know that horrible feeling that occurs when you’re trying to sip on cognac, and you just don’t feel sexy? Like, how can possibly seduce a man while you have to hold your hand around a cup? Well don’t worry, there’s a solution to the age-old problem.
When cognac producer Remy Martin asked a group of design students to figure out a way to connect the act of drinking cognac with “the art of seduction,” Merve Kahraman came up with the series of glass rings below. The folks over at NPR seem to believe the rings are the perfect way to help us poor women, with our naturally inferior palettes, appreciate cognac (because apparently women can only enjoy something so refined if it gives us a new way to accessorize).
The rings are attached to glasses, so instead of simply holding a drink in your hand, you can have the added pleasure of trying to balance wine or champagne between your fingers. It kind of seems like the least seductive thing imaginable to us. A Ring Pop would probably be sexier.
What do you think?
