Riccardo Tisci Still Might Take Over Dior, Also Might Be Moving To New York

From the moment John Galliano was fired from his post at Dior, Givenchy‘s Riccardo Tisci has been considered a frontrunner. The flames were fanned early, when Derek Blasberg tweeted that Tisci had been confirmed. Someone gave him the (maybe, possibly, probably) true dish backstage at a Katy Perry concert. And in an interview with W, Karl Lagerfeld said he would like to see Tisci go to Dior and Haider Ackermann take over at Givenchy.

Fashionista is now reporting that he’s “openly discussing his move to Dior with certain acquaintances”, so this is thing that might indeed be true! He’s also allegedly looking for a place in New York, which really has nothing to do with his possible placement at Dior, but we like the idea of potentially running into him at Starbucks.

Basically, nobody really knows anything ON THE RECORD. However! Tisci is maybe, possibly, probably headed to Dior. So, now you (sort of) know.
