Rihanna is at it again. The 24-year-old singer, who, if we are to believe TIME magazine, is one of the 100 most influential people in the world, has been releasing behind-the-scenes peeks into her new “Where Have You Been?” music video all week on her YouTube channel.
In the video, she wears an assortment of getups – metallic pasties, a chainmail bra, red harem pants, and plenty of chunky wooden jewelry – which stylist Mel Ottenberg refers to as “voodoo” and “tribal” in the accompanying wardrobe fitting video. One backup dancer says the looks make him feel “closer to nature.”
We already examined the questionable cultural sensitivity of RiRi’s “Princess of China” outfit and accompanying tweet….how do you feel about the “tribal” theme of “Where Have You Been?”
