Robert Redford Disses Paris Hilton At Sundance

There’s a chill in the air in Park City this weekend, and it ain’t just from the atmosphere. Founder of Sundance Robert Redford slighted socialite Paris Hilton in a panel discussion about how the famous film festival has progressed, asking, “What movie is she in?” and blaming her for making things “not as much fun” for him.

Hilton doesn’t seem to value the role as film critic that highly, however. She posed for a series of photographs modeling swag she copped from the likes of Rudsak and Carlo Pazolini, and didn’t look all that upset about Redford’s dig.

“There are too many people who come to the festival to leverage their own self-interest,” Redford also said. You can’t fault a girl for liking freebies, but we can imagine how Hilton’s presence might grate on a serious actor like Redford. Or might grate on anyone.
