Last night’s looks ran the gamut from glamorous to groupie. Julianne Hough pulled off a chartreuse Kaufmanfranco, while Catherine Zeta-Jones looked uncomfortable in a too-short Zuhair Murad number and Ashley Tisdale went for the teenage fangirl look in sparkly bodycon and pink-streaked hair. Brooke Shields looks like she just stopped by the premiere on the way to her kids’ soccer practice, but luckily she is Brooke Shields and therefore can do such things. And, because no red carpet these days is complete without some upper-thigh action, Malin Ackerman wore a slit-up-to-there Reem Acra gown.
This being a film with no shortage of guyliner, we thought it only fair to include the men in the red carpet lineup. And despite ample competition from their skin-baring counterparts, the dudes managed to make quite a spectacle of themselves for the occasion. Russell Brand sported a fedora and chains galore, but his signature shaggy ‘do was one-upped by Josh Duhamel‘s curly wig. W cover boy Tom Cruise mercifully ditched the cowboy hat, eyeliner, and tats this time around.
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
