The royal newlyweds are currently enjoying their African honeymoon on North Island in the Seychelles, and it’s costing the pair quite a pretty penny.
Us Weekly is reporting that Kate and Prince William rented out all 11 villas at the North Island Lodge, thus ensuring total privacy since it’s the only lodging on the super-exclusive island. This is costing them $720,000. They do get a private butler, as well access to an “open-air bath filled with frangipani flowers” though. Oh, and the 5,000 sq. ft. villas have two bedrooms each. Well, that’s certainly fit for a (future) king.
We get the privacy thing, and we love the Duke and Duchess, but doesn’t this seem a tad excessive?
