In case you needed more proof that everyone in the entire world has royal wedding fever, a Legoland in England has put a commendable amount of time, effort, and attention to detail into recreating the impending-but-as-of-yet-still-abstract nuptials of Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton. (Fun fact: this strange confluence of news and medium means this post falls smack dab in the middle of a hypothetical Venn diagram of Styleite, Geekosystem, and The Mary Sue. Fun!) But on to the point: there are Lego corgis!
A few other things we noticed: in Legoland, Kate Middleton’s dress is strapless (something we really hope doesn’t happen in real life; how delightfully royal would lace sleeves be?), there are no black and/or ethnic guests, and corgis are sand colored. (On that note, we were willing to excuse the corgis’ coloring on the assumption that there were no orange lego blocks, but if you look carefully at the seventh slide, you’ll see an orange-haired Prince Harry just to the right of Wills.)
But all in: this is awesome.
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
