And here it is! The most tantalizing clue to date in the great mystery that is Kate Middleton’s wedding dress designer. Photos have surfaced of an unidentified female sneaking into Kate’s hotel this afternoon — an unidentified female most sources are identifying as Sarah Burton, the creative director of Alexander McQueen.
The Guardian wrote:
The Middleton family were spending the evening quietly at the Goring hotel near Buckingham Palace, which was cordoned off with a marquee shielding the entrance so that the bride will be able to slip unobserved into one of Buckingham Palace’s Rolls Royces for her journey to the abbey at precisely 10.51am this morning. Her dress will not be revealed until she arrives at the abbey nine minutes later. The designer Sarah Burton appeared to have entered the hotel in disguise this afternoon.
While the Telegraph identified the figure’s “distinctive” belt and flats:
The distinctive studded leather belt doubled through the belt loops of her jeans was identical to the one favoured by Sarah Burton, creative director of Alexander McQueen, as were the ballet pumps.
