You all know Andrej Pejic, the man who’s carved out a very successful career modeling women’s clothing. So why not have a woman model as a man? Hedi Slimane poses that very question with his men’s spring 2013 campaign, starring female model Saskia de Brauw.
De Brauw has already posed for some of the more revered magazines in the business, like Vogue (both French and Italian) and V, and was also featured in the 2012 Pirelli calendar. However, she’s never done something quite this gender-bending. Check out the campaign images below — like the previous campaign we saw from Slimane’s Saint Laurent Paris, they’re simple, but pack a serious punch. And we happen to think that the use of de Brauw was nothing short of inspired. What do you think of the androgynous ads?
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
