Tilda Swinton is a beautiful eccentricity that evades the binary rules of time, kinda like the human version of an expensive antique trinket. Or even a literal work of art. Hence why we cannot think of a celebrity more suited to debut Valentino’s cabinet of curiosities-inspired Fall 2013 Couture collection.
Indeed she’s so right for it that she couldn’t settle for just one piece from the collection. In South Korea for the premiere of Korean/American sci-fi thriller Snowpiercer she graced the arm of director Bong Joon-Ho in a luminous, lantern-sleeved dress printed with antique-y oddities and carrying the flag for mullet hems that don’t suck.
Then at the press conference she covered up with a deceptively simple embroidered coat, carrying the flag for couch dressing that doesn’t suck. Both pieces were accessorized with the same nude pumps and Jim Jarmusch hairstyle.

this is some kind of spaceship or something.
