PHOTOS: Your First Look At Stella McCartney’s UK Olympic Uniforms

Do you love the Olympics? Because we LOVE THE OLYMPICS. All the countries! All the sports! All the everything! It’s the best. You know what else rules about the Olympics? The uniforms.

Stella McCartney has just unveiled the Adidas uniforms she designed for Britain’s 2012 Olympic and Paralympic teams. The red, white, and blue unis feature a stylized version of the Union Jack, and have been specialized for each of the individual sports. As per McCartney:

“The first place to start on a project like this is to look at the Union flag. It was important for me to stay true to that iconic design, but also to modernize it and present it in a contemporary way. Ultimately, we wanted the athletes to feel like a team and be proud with the identity we created.”

Let it be known: we are on official Olympic uniform watch from here on out. We’re also really excited to see what everyone wears to the opening ceremony. OLYMPICS!
