PHOTO: World’s Oldest Purse Uncovered In Germany

Well, this makes us rethink the meaning of vintage.

The world’s oldest purse was just uncovered at a burial site in Leipzig, Germany, and is thought to have been made circa 2,200 B.C. — well over 4,000 years ago! And this wasn’t just some plain animal skin pouch. It is completely covered in decorative dog teeth. This could very well be the Birkin of yore. Who ever said ladies in the Stone Age couldn’t be chic?
