Target Targets Soon-To-Be-Married Gay Couples In Their Newest Ad

Following on the heels of J.C. Penney and Gap, Target has released an ad for their wedding registry featuring an adorable gay couple all suited up in their just-married finest.

While J.C. Penney went with “Freedom of Expression” and Gap with “Be One” for their respective taglines, Target’s campaign employs “Be Yourself, Together.”, the same slogan you may have seen splashed across other, less news-worthy images in the campaign. Smart move, you guys! Gay marriage made headlines earlier this week for raking in $259 million for the state of New York in a single year, so we anticipate similar campaigns will continue to sweep the nation, one megaretailer at a time.
