The Bling Ring premiered last night in the place that started it all: Hollywood. But while Alexis Neiers and the rest of the real-life perps who inspired the film were not in attendance (surprise, surprise), at least one of their victims was.
Despite saying that seeing the “violating” scenes in the movie filmed in her house made her cry, Paris Hilton stepped out to show her support, looking like a blast from the past in salmon pink BCBG, nude Christian Louboutins, and a head full of blonde extensions. Lop a few
inches feet off the hem of that dress, and we’d almost have suspected she stepped right out of her mid-2000s heyday.
Emma Watson, on the other hand, looked far more sophisticated than she did back in her Harry Potter years, wearing a structured grey Chanel minidress with a space age-y upturned collar and a zip-up front. Fresh off Monday’s premiere for This Is The End, she traded her flipped-under ‘do for a braided style and paired it with the perfect shade of berry lipstick.
Director Sofia Coppola, meanwhile, joined many of the attendees in donning Louis Vuitton, the brand that sponsored the premiere. We weren’t fans of Chloë Sevigny’s pale pink LV look, especially with the unnecessary jacket she dragged along the red carpet, but Haley Williams’ sensual ’40s-inspired ensemble has us itching to hit the racks at our local vintage haunts.
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
