Someone must have sent a memo around to everyone on the guest list for The Company You Keep’s NYC premiere last night. How else can you explain this level of color coordination on the red carpet? If you’re looking for us to rationalize Shia LaBeouf’s ever-scruffier appearance, however, that one’s beyond our powers of deduction.
As for the slightly more put-together attendees, Zosia Mamet held it down for the Blue Camp in a monochromatic cobalt ensemble — an okay execution of the trend, although we could have done without the heavy, smudged eye makeup. Brit Marling, who stars in the film, looked far more cool and casual in a black-and-white Viktor & Rolf frock with graphic lines and an easy silhouette.
Rounding out the fashion pack were aspiring model Ireland Baldwin in an inky blazer and skinny jeans, Dannijo designers Danielle and Jodi Snyder in coordinating black and white, and tween actress Jackie Evancho in an adorable pale blue princess dress we’d gladly wear.
See all these looks and more (black and blue, that is), and watch the trailer below:
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
