Some funny lady mutual admiration happened on Twitter today.
At five past two, Rashida Jones tweeted at Lena Dunham to thank her for ‘gramming her jewelry.
Dunham wore the Merv 1 necklace, which looks like some sort of unicorn, and a Peanut ring, which according to the site symbolizes “forward motion and power in numbers.”
When she opened Instagram, she placed her hand on her heart American pledge-style. (This was a classic move that Dunham had mastered because Hannah Horvath likes to clutch her chest when she’s referring to herself.) Then she typed, “Hey Rashida! Thank you for this dose of Fine by Dannijones. It’s no fair that you’re funny, pretty and can design stylish jewels.”
If this friendship continues to strengthen, Jones, a Harvard grad, could always guest star on Girls Season 4 as the overly supportive professor who inspires Horvath to pen a six-volume memoir entitled “Stuff Bothering Me Right Now.”
