When you think about it, it really was only a matter of time before a brand as lucrative as Toy Story got its own clothing line. But also, when you think about it, a Toy Story clothing line that includes garments for people who aren’t under the age of 8 just seems really, really bizarre.
Just like the movie, this collection, designed by the Japanese clothing company Bossini, seems primarily concerned with bringing grown people back into their childhoods. And while we appreciate that, we don’t know any woman who would actually wear a dress whose pockets are incorporated into the ears of a Little Green Man. (For the record, our fearless leader Verena is totally into the Woody sweatshirt, and honestly we can’t blame her.
The collection is set to be sold in a select few Disney stores in the United States, and the line’s spokespeople say it will be “difficult to find.” Take a look at the collection below, and tell us if you’ll go in search of any of it.
