PHOTO: Tyra Banks Lands Her First Magazine Cover In Three Years

We would have thought Tyra Banks was too busy attending Harvard Business School and running a burgeoning entertainment empire to actual do what she’s known for doing: modeling. But it turns out we were wrong — next month you can see Banks on the cover of a little known German fashion magazine called I Love You.

We’d never heard of I Love You until just now — and perhaps that’s the point of the cover, which is the first real editorial work Banks has done since she was on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar in 2008. (The spread inside that issue, if you recall, was the one where she posed as Michelle Obama in her first days as First Lady.)

She formally gave up the business in 2005 to focus on her TV shows and various other business pursuits (the novel Modelland and her website Type F among them) full time, but you know what they say. Once a smizing supermodel, always a smizing supermodel. Or something.

Anywhoo, check out Banks’s new cover below, on which she’s wearing some seriously yellow eye makeup (the better for you to see her eyes with), and tell us what you think! The folks at I Love You would absolutely love for you to read more about their magazine, here.
