Baby, it’s cold outside, but Versace‘s spring ads are hot.
Just kidding: the Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot-lensed ads were photographed in London, but the collection itself and the dark backdrop were inspired by the annual music fest out in the California desert. Donatella wrote in a statement:
“To have three glamorous and iconic women like Kate, Daria and Joan in one campaign is not an easy feat. Mert and Marcus really outdid themselves, each image is composed like a work of art.”
The ads are not unlike the brand’s spring 2012 images, which featured Gisele Bündchen and a Instagram-esque color overlay. But the new ones are obviously better, mainly thanks to the scantily-clad and delightfully muscular male models.
Consider this your early holiday gift:
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
