PHOTOS: A Look Back At Victoria Beckham’s Vogue Covers

It’s been more than 15 years since Victoria Beckham covered US Vogue, and yet we remember it like it was yesterday. Yes, this is probably because January 1998 was right at the height of our Spice Girls obsession, and seeing the fivesome on the front of the fashion bible was something of a dream come true, but we’ll always have a soft spot for that particular issue. Which is just one of the reasons we’re excited to hear that the artist formerly known as Posh Spice may be covering the title yet again, but this time all by her lonesome.

According to the UK’s Daily Star tabloid, Anna Wintour has her eye on the 39-year-old for the coveted spot, and is having a grand old time making Beckham “work for it”. While we’re not sure quite what this means (shirtless pics of David, perhaps?), we do hope she gives up the games soon and slots the designer in for an Annie Leibovitz session.

Will they take a cue from British Vogue and shoot her au naturel, or go eyebrow-less and fierce like the Turkish edition? Take a look through Beckham’s previous appearances on the face of glossy and let us know what you think. And for a taste of what may be inside the issue, check out Hamish Bowles’ profile from March of last year.
