NSFW alert! If you thought the cover of Vogue Italia‘s plus-sized issue was something special, wait until you see the coordinating spread. It is, perhaps, one of the most incredibly scintillating sets of photos we’ve seen in a while, and we’ll take this opportunity to remind you that scintillating sets of photos are more or less our bread and butter.
The all black-and-white spread was shot by Steven Meisel, who takes some of the most sexually charged photos in the business. It was, apparently, styled by Edward Enninful, if you can call asking beautiful women to stand around in various states of dishabille styling. It’s a brilliant shoot that celebrates these women’s bodies for what they are, with hardly a retouched thigh in sight. Needless to say, we’re in love. We’ve included some of our favorite shots below, but you can see the full spread on Vogue Italia‘s website. Just don’t do it while you’re at work.
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
