Watch Daphne Guinness In Her Trippy Debut Music Video

Collecting job titles like they’re Pez dispensers seems to be all part and parcel of being a celebrity these days. But Daphne Guinness is not so much a celebrity as she is more a magical, ageless being, and one of those rare creatures who seems to take on new endeavors in the name of art for art’s sake rather than the art of resume boosting.

Granted her announcement that she would be trying her hand at singing was still a bit of a surprise. But the non-eccentric has now unveiled the music video for her debut single Fatal Flaw, and it will make you feel very bad if you ever doubted her ability as either a soprano or a music video star.

“This song came from broken bonds, fragmented dreams. In part, it’s about the sheer randomness of love and its illusionary effect,” says Guinness.

In essence, it’s a trippy mash-up of real and surreal. And the outfits, of course, are well worth hoving over the ‘pause’ button as things swell in and out of focus.

The film is exclusively presented by SHOWstudio and features trippy cinematics by director Nick Knight. You can download the single at showstudio.com starting on June 20.
