We’re always down for a bit of Spice Girls nostalgia, but we have our limits. One such limit is that we won’t (okay, can’t) throw on a pair of platform heels and dance around like pros to our favorite songs. Few people can do that without hurting themselves. But in this hilarious video, a crew of extremely talented men get their groove on all over Paris to Spice Girls songs, spoofing the original videos while wearing 9 inch heels. It’s an impressive feat, a fairly accurate spoof, and a really fun watch.
Apparently, the video’s blond star is Yanis Marshall, and he also choreographed the video. The 23 year-old dancer is also an instructor and one of the few in France who teaches classes on how to dance in heels for both women and men. According to his personal website, “When he is asked ‘Why the heels?’ he replies simply, ‘Why not?'”
We like his attitude, and we really like his dancing. Check it out below.
