British Vogue created a heartwarming tribute to Linda McCartney with their Life Through a Lens photo shoot inspired by the the late photographer’s ’70s wardrobe. The April fashion story was styled by Jane How and featured pieces from Linda’s personal archive. Photographer Glen Luchford created an accompanying film for British Vogue’s iPad app. Paul McCartney’s song Maybe I Am Amazed serves as the soundtrack for the emotional film that celebrates his late wife.
“Watching the Linda film by Glen and Jane blew me away,” Stella McCartney said. “It was as if Mum had come alive in images I had seen as a child. He has captured her free spirit and inner beauty, but the fact that he met her I think shows the impression she left on him.”
