If you’re marrying the Prince of England, you can pretty much assume that your engagement (and wedding) photographer is going to be someone huge. And not like, Best In The Wedding Photography Business huge, but Best In The Entire World huge. So it should come as no surprise that Kate Middleton and Prince William’s engagement photoshoot was done by one of fashion’s most famous and most revered lensmen.
Mario Testino — the man behind many of Kate Moss’ most iconic nudes — shot Kate and William last month, though there’s no word as to when the photos will be released. And while we were surprised to hear the couple went with such a fashionable talent, apparently shooting the Royal Family is now old hat to Testino. Besides photographing Prince Charles for British Vogue in 2002 and American Vogue just this year, Testino was also in charge of covering Prince William’s 21st birthday in June 2003 and Prince Harry’s 20th birthday in 2004.
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
