PHOTOS: The 9 Worst Dressed Stars On The Golden Globes Red Carpet

All in all, this year’s Golden Globe Awards drew a very well-dressed crowd. But no red carpet would be complete without some flubs, and the last night certainly brought out some doozies.

Giuliana Rancic kicked off the night on E! in an ill-advised gothic number that might have worked if Lady Mary had worn it on Downton Abbey, but alas, Giuliana is no Crowley. Similarly, we would have been on board with Jennifer Lopez‘s dress if it were a jumpsuit and she were wearing it on stage in Las Vegas, but the sheer, beaded look is starting to get a little old, even if the woman wearing it doesn’t seem to be.

Halle Berry, another member of the club of Hollywood residents who appear to get younger with age, chose a messy, one-shouldered Versace gown that we would have been obsessed with this dress in middle school. This, needless to say, is not a good thing. Eva Longoria, meanwhile, sported a Snooki poof while trying not-so-successfully to execute the Angelina Jolie Oscars leg in a revealing Emilio Pucci gown.

We’ve already discussed the unfortunate Erdem getup on Sienna Miller, which proved decisively that two rights can make a wrong on the red carpet. And the same can be said for Zooey Deschanel‘s Oscar de la Renta gown, which, while not an eyesore like some of the other sights on the carpet this evening, looked like nothing more than a scarlet taffeta version of her recent Emmys gown.

Plus, the matching pearl necklace and bracelet were a little too First Lady-ish for the event, which just drew attention to the fact that Hillary Clinton did not join hubby Bill at the show, which may have just been the biggest letdown of the whole evening.

See all of the misses in the gallery below, and let us know if there’s anyone you feel we’ve let off too easy:
